Located way out in the suburbs on the southwestern edge of the Up, near the woods, The Canadian Consulate is surrounded by an acre of undeveloped land with a stream cutting through the property. A long, tree-lined dirt driveway hides the house from the nearest road. Immediately around the house there is a cleared and well-kept yard and beds for a vegetable garden. At the end of the driveway nearest the house is a paved and covered carport.
